💖 My Passion Is Love for Women and Children’s Well-Being
In a heartfelt interview with Vanguard News, I shared my unwavering commitment to advocating for the rights and well-being of women and children. As a pharmacist, humanitarian, and founder of the Nigerian Child Protection Trust, my mission is to create a world where children are well cared for and women are empowered to look after themselves and their families.
🌍 A Vision Rooted in Love and Empowerment
Driven by love and empathy, I envision a Nigeria where women are empowered to care for themselves and their children. This vision led me to pursue further education, including a CIPD Level 5 course in Human Resources and a Leadership Principles course at Harvard Business School. These experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to advocate effectively for those in need.
🛡️ Advocacy and Humanitarian Efforts
Through the Nigerian Child Protection Trust and the End Child Sexual Abuse Group, I have been at the forefront of efforts to protect vulnerable children and support women facing abuse. My work blends mentoring, empathy, and speaking up for the oppressed, creating a platform where women and children can find support and a voice.
🏆 Recognitions and Awards
My dedication to social change has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Right Livelihood Award for outstanding contributions to reducing hunger, inequality, and improving sustainability. Additionally, I received the Drum Majors for Peace award for my significant strides in women and child development.
